Filming on Thor: The Dark World wrapped just before Christmas, and Tom Hiddleston has wasted no time in singing the sequelâs praises.âItâs fantastic, truly,â he tells the Press Association. âWe are making an amazing film, and weâre having a wonderful time.âReturning as malicious god Loki, the brother of Thor (Chris Hemsworth), Hiddleston went on to praise director Alan Taylor (best known for Game Of Thrones) for "deepening" Thor's world.âIt's so exciting to have established characters and an established setting in the world, and we are working so hard to cook up something new,â he says.âThat is what is exciting me - taking what we know, taking what we love and deepening it and giving it an extra dimension.âI think director Alan Taylor is really shaping up the world of Asgard and the world of these characters.âIn Thor: The Dark World, the titular Thunder God must fight against a primeval race led by Christopher Ecclestonâs Malekith the Accursed. It will also see the return of Natalie Portman as Thorâs love interest, Jane Foster, as well as Stellan SkarsgÃ¥rd and Kat Dennings as her fellow scientists.Thor: The Dark World opens on 30 October 2013.
